Lesson Title
Landing the Job of Your Dreams!

Lesson SummaryIn our Intro to Business class, we are covering a Unit on Conducting a Job Search. We’ve already discussed Resumes, Cover Letters, Frequently Asked Interview Questions, and Interview Dos & Don’ts, so now we’re going to look at actual jobs. More specifically, we’re going to look at our “dream jobs” and how we can actually get there. Students are to pick their “dream job” in the world of Business from a company listed on the Forbes 500 list. Students are then to research this position (CEO, CFO, Marketing Director, President, etc) and a person in general that has this job title. Students are to use various resources on the Internet to find out how this person got to where they are today. After conducting research, each student will present their finds to the class by use of visual media (PowerPoint, Prezi, Photo Story, Xtra Normal, Animoto, etc.)
