Unit Test
At the end of our Job Search unit, a test will be given which will cover all of the topics we discussed. This test will consist of multiple-choice questions such as the example below.
14. When writing my resume, I need to include certain personal information such as...
a) my name and contact information
b) my name, contact information, date of birth
c) my name, contact information, date of birth, and number of dependants
The Unit Test will also include a couple of short-essay questions, such as the example below.
47. Your friend has a very important job interview with ABC Shipping Company next week. What advice would you give your friend so that they will have a good interview?
Quizzes
Throughout our unit the class will be given short, multiple-choice quizzes. The questions on these quizzes will be much like those on the Unit Test. There will be a total of three quizzes. Quiz 1 will be on Resumes, Quiz 2 will be on Cover Letters, and Quiz 3 will be on Interviewing. These quizzes will come after each respective section is covered in class.
Observation
At the conclusion of our section on Interviewing, I will be conducting mock interviews with the class. The details about this assignment and the scoring rubric can be found at the link below.
