I will be giving my students a question for them to answer throughout our Job Search unit. This question will be given to the students a total of four times; once before the unit, once after the Resumes section, once after the Cover Letters section, and finally after Interviewing, our last section. The students will turn in each of their responses, and after I grade the fourth and final answer I will be giving them back to the students. By doing this the students will be able to look back at their first answer, and then compare it to their final answer. This will show them how much they have learned and how far they have come throughout this unit. The question I will be asking can be found below:
You are writing a column for your college's Career Center. This column is about the Job Search Process. You are writing this piece geared toward college seniors and/or recent college graduates that are about to begin searching for their new careers. You need to include any and all information that they may find helpful in their search. Given your knowledge today, what would you include in your article?
